We are currently hiring for the following position:

Director of First Impressions/Executive Assistant. Currently seeking an “UBER-organized” (way beyond normal!) individual to organize our President and CEO’s calendar and be the first voice/face an individual hears or sees at Jenkins. A big smile is a must for this job, along with an absolute passion about being organized and on track. Technical skills are a must in this position, as it requires scheduling, entering calls into a database, and posting to Facebook/Twitter regularly. Organized part-time Bookkeeper/CPA. Salary: $1,800/month. We need a very bright and efficient person with exceptional organization skills and experience keeping books in the construction industry with Quickbooks and job costing experience to generate purchase orders, pay invoices, generate checks, balance and close the books, run & understand financial reports, and file associated paperwork. A 4-year degree is strongly preferred, and a minimum of 2 years of higher education is required. The hours are Monday – Thursday (Fridays off), 9 am – 3 pm with all school school holidays off. Although we do not have any immediate openings in the following positions, we always accept resumes for the following team members:

Project Coordinator. Seeking a fun and fabulous candidate with exceptional organizational skills. We are looking for someone who can keep client’s selection schedules for them, help keep them on track, hold vendors accountable, help with selections when necessary, use project software to keep track of schedules, report to management, and do it all with charm and finesse. This very special person must have a degree from a 4-year major university. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-end residential construction, experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, a proven track record keeping and staying organized and on task, and have some interior design experience. Experience in the hospitality industry could also be a plus; although, this candidate must be able to be firm while still being polite.

Lead Architect/Designer. Applicant should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Residential Design, experience in the Luxury market a plus, and should appreciate/enjoy Tuscan and Old-World Architecture. A degree in Architecture is preferred. CAD experience is required, and candidate must be able to sketch and render. This full-time position entails completing detailed CAD drawings for our homes and pools and working with our clients.

High-Octane Superintendent. Applicant should have a 4-year college degree and a minimum of 3-5 years experience in Custom Home Building. The right person will have an eye for details and be a perfectionist. He/She will have a thorough understanding of the homebuilding process and will be a good listener. He/She will hold himself/herself to a higher standard and will always desire to improve, learn, and make a positive contribution. The right person will be intelligent and hard-working. This person will require little supervision and will have the ability to handle multiple projects and clients at once. This person must have the ability to understand and implement complex Engineering drawings.

Multi-tasking Estimator/Procurement Manager. Applicant should have a minimum 10 years experience estimating construction projects, 3 of which must be residential construction. The right person will also have experience doing take-offs and ordering materials for residential construction projects. The right person will also be intelligent, hard-working, client-focused, and a great communicator.
